Driver Bio Gary DeMasi is an US Air Force Veteran with a Love for Building and Driving Mechanical things. As an Automotive Engineering and career Technician there is no doubt he is doing what he’s supposed to be. After 2 successful careers, 38 years in the automotive industry and 10 years in Sales and Marketing Entrepreneur. Gary suffered a life setback from a major accidental Stroke in 2010 week after a routine surgery. In time with a green light and noted cautions from doctors, Gary turned to the use of what he calls extreme mechanical therapy. B by doing something so uncommon for rehabilitation, He chose to rehab with familiar tasks and tools. He went out to his shop and did something special, but never thought it would go that far. Gary has constructed a Rally Truck from the ground up and entered competitions from Rallycross to Stage rally. He marketed and branded the V8 Rally Ranger for the cause. Gary has driven this street legal truck to some spectacular finishes, all the while relearning and rebuilding motor skills and communications for himself and in the hopes to help others not be afflicted with stroke disabilities by knowing the signs. DeMasi chose his 1985 Ford ranger to make a statement as it was unique as he was, and Rally as the sport to do it with. Rallycross & Stage Rally is a Family Community based events based on pre-staged closed roads, one person at a time competed for their time. Best culminate for the event wins. Everything about rally is an endurance sport and used as input to retrain your Brain. With all the natural chemicals like adrenaline, endorphin's and such this made healing a faster process by forced involuntary learning. Rally racing has rehabbed him back over the past 7 years since his brain damage. Gar wants to help others do the same and he is committed to do whatever it takes to help spread Awareness, Inspire, Motivate and Mentor others to rebuild and push themselves to their potential disability or not. There are now more people using his experiences to rehab by Motorsports with much success by giving opportunity, tools, and training to make sure they are taking all the precautions to be safe, while enjoying life like they have never known they could going forward. The Racing Program is Funded by those that he inspires, to help those that need to be motivated and mentored It is a nonpaying position but DeMasi says it is most rewarding because he gets to prove that it works, and see the difference it has on others so they also succeed. Please help support the program to Help Military Active and Veterans alike with Disabilities to support their goals to rehabilitate, this is very uncommon but very successful way to retrain your brain. Help with anxieties’, rebuilding cognitive & motor skills and structure.
